PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washer which allows the replacement of a slidable contact blade and the repair of each pipe without wetting the floor when water leaks, while easily executing the drainage of the leakage water. SOLUTION: The dish washer consists of a housing 2 for storing a washing chamber 3 for washing dishes X so that the chamber can be drawn out, a port 8 for taking in and out the dishes X which is formed in an upper part of the washing chamber 3 in a drawn-out state, a blocking plate 9 for blocking the port 8 of the washing chamber 3 in a stored state, and the slidable contact blade 15 which is brought into slidable contact with the blocking plate 9 when the washing chamber 3 is drawn out. At the bottom 2d of the housing 2, a tray-like water collecting pan 16 having a wall 16b set upright on the periphery which is opposite the blocking plate 9 through the washing chamber 3 is so installed as to be drawn out.
