PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide personal effects such as a bag such that a light can be automatically and semi-permanently made to emit light simply when the bag is carried around without a battery or the like being replaced, and that a sufficient amount of light for the bag to be recognized from automobiles or bicycles can be secured when the user walks during the night, etc. SOLUTION: The bag comprises the light disposed in an appropriate position on the front side of a personal effect body, a rechargeable battery for supplying electric power to the light, and a piezoelectric generator connected to the rechargeable battery. The piezoelectric generator comprises two plate-shaped piezoelectric ceramic bodies formed of piezoelectric ceramic plates joined to each other while being polarized in opposite directions, with one or both sides of the piezoelectric ceramic plates struck by oscillation of a steel ball suspended within the piezoelectric generator so as to generate power.
