PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer for dried persimmon not only enabling sweet dried persimmon to be produced by efficiently drying peeled raw persimmon but also causing no adherence of mould to the surface skin of persimmon during drying. SOLUTION: This dryer for dried persimmon is so designed that a dried persimmon hanger 5 allowing a rod 14 suspended with a plurality of raw persimmons to travel round through an endless belt 12 is set up inside a holding section 1 formed by covering a frame 2-assembled in a box-shaped fashion with an openable heat reflective sheet 4 and the bottom is furnished with a far-infrared heater 7 for drying the above raw persimmons and producing the objective dried persimmons 6. Further, a thermosensor 9 for sensing the chamber temperature is mounted and a ventilatory means 8 subject to its actuation and halt by the thermosensor 9 is also provided inside the holding section 1.
