PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method, by which a frameless print can be obtained by neither staining apparatuses, recording paper or the like nor reducing the expected life span of the apparatuses, and an image recording sheet employed in the method. SOLUTION: This image recording sheet is produced by providing at least a recording layer 12 on one side of a support 10 and by laminating a releasing layer 16, a self-bonding layer 18 and a removing sheet 20 in the order named on the other side of the support 10. The image recording method for recording an image with the image recording sheet is, at first, to record an image beyond a notch 22 when the image is recorded at a portion surrounded by the notch 22 with an image recording under the state that the releasing frame-like notch 22 is present on the recording layer 12 side of the image recording sheet. Next, a separation is performed between the releasing layer 16 and the self-bonding layer 18 of the image recording sheet, resulting in obtaining a sheet, in which an image is formed over the whole surface of the separated recording layer. |
