PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label cutter capable of feeding and back-feeding a label and driving a cutter by a single motor. SOLUTION: This label cutter is provided with a rotation transmitting mechanism 7 for transmitting rotation of the motor to a platen roller 4 and a cam 3, the rotation transmitting mechanism is provided with a differential mechanism 8 for intercepting transmission of rotation to the platen roller to the rotation at a designated angle of the motor, and a one-way clutch 9 for stopping the rotation of the cam when the platen roller is turned to the feed side is provided between the rotation transmitting mechanism and the cam.
