PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for a fuel lid spring capable of being easily and precisely mounted to the fuel lid. SOLUTION: A clip body 41 where the fuel lid spring 30 can be mounted comprises a shaft engaging part 43 engaging a hinge shaft 18 and a locking piece 50 engaged to an engaging rim 15 provided to the fuel lid 10. After the shaft engaging part 43 is engaged to the hinge shaft 18, the clip body 41 is turned around the hinge shaft, and the locking piece 50 is bent and deformed with keeping a parallel status to the hinge shaft 18 by sliding and contacting against the engaging rim 15 of the fuel lid 10, and the locking piece 50 is engaged to the engaging rim 15 with elastically returning from a bent and deformed condition of the locking piece 50.
