PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture each of cups by bonding a bottom paper on the inner face of a tapered peripheral face formed by partially drawing the vicinity of the small diameter peripheries of a cup side cylinder being widened upward, reduce contact areas of side cylinders of the overlapped cups so that a number of protruded sections are not brought into contact with the overlapped cup inner faces even when the protruded sections are formed of recesses and projections having a number of vertical creases formed on the outer faces of the tapered peripheral face of the side cylinder on the bottom paper peripheral edge and easily separate each of the cups one by one from each of overlapped bodies formed of a number of the overlapped cups by permeating air into clearances between side cylinders formed by the projections on the side cylinder peripheral faces. SOLUTION: Side cylinder blanks 1 of the shape of almost an arc strip of fancy paper is rolled in its length direction, and its ends 1a are bonded each other on a bonding section 2 to form a cup side cylinder 3 being widened upward, and the bottom paper is bonded on the small diameter end of the cup and a protrusion 3A is formed on the peripheral face of the cup side cylinder 3, and the small diameter periphery 3a of the side cylinder 3 is partially and thoroughly drawn into the inside to form a tapered peripheral face 4, and the bottom paper 5 of the round plate shape is bonded on a rising peripheral face 6 of the tapered peripheral face 4. |
