<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size and lightweight gas generator for an air bag manufacturable easily at a low cost. SOLUTION: This gas generator comprises an ignition means, a gas generating means, and a filter means contained in a housing comprising a diffuser shell and a closure shell, both having a flange part extending to the radial outside thereof. The flange part of the diffuser shell is connected to the flange part of the closure shell.</p> |
