PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a honeycomb core which keeps excellent characteristics of heat insulation, sound insulation, rigidity, etc., and is uniform in the content of foams of each cell. SOLUTION: A mixture containing a dispersion or water solution of a phosphoric acid or the like (a), a curing agent (b), a urethane prepolymer having an NCO group (c) and a foaming agent as occasion demands (4) is filled in the cells of a honeycomb body of a cell size 3-100 mm and voids 92-99.5%, with a temperature maintained at -15-+15 deg.C, and foamed and cured.
