SOLUTION: In a car body where a shock absorbing EA rib 6 formed in lattice shape is disposed along a roof side rail 1, a ceiling holding part 7 for temporarily placing a ceiling 8 along a roof panel 5 is provided in the outline of the EA rib 6.
