PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a fungicide for agriculture and horticulture which is excellent in a disease-controlling effect upon rice blast and sheath blight diseases and various diseases of vegetables, fruit trees, flowering plants and the like. SOLUTION: A fungicidal composition comprises 2-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-(1H-1,2,4- triazol-1-yl)-3-trimethylsilyl-2-propanol and one kind of compounds selected from the group consisting of an iminoctadine-based fungicide, a dithiocarbamate- based fungicide, an organochlorine fungicide, an anilinopyrimidine-based fungicide and an N-trihalomethylthio-based fungicide as active components.
