PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feces-treating tool having a simple structure and, nevertheless, capable of surely recovering feces and convenient to carry. SOLUTION: The feces-treating tool is composed of a recovery vessel 14 having an opening 14a opening upward, the lid 12 of the recovery vessel 14 opening slantly upward, an operation lever 18 extending above the recovery vessel 14 and usable as a grip 18a for carrying and a connection rod 20. In the case of carrying the recovery vessel 14 by holding the grip 18a of the operation lever 18, the vessel 14 is tilted backward by its own weight to close the opening 14a of the vessel 14 with the lid 12 contacting from under. In the case of recovering the feces of a pet, the recovery vessel 14 is placed on the ground and the operation lever 18 is tilted backward by a prescribed angle. The connection rod 20 connected to the operation lever 18 pushes the hinged side of the lid 12 downward and the lid is opened slantly upward to open the opening 14a and recover the feces.
