PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a difficulty in an effective suppression of the internal scattering of excessive powdery lubricant which does not stick to an upper or a lower pestle when the powdery lubricant is injected upon the upper and the lower pestles to prevent the sticking of a powdery raw material upon the pestles and a mortar in a rotary type pressing and compacting machine for powder. SOLUTION: In the device where a powder packed in the mortar hole 41 of a mortar 4 fixed on a rotary plate 3 is pressed and compacted between the lower end face 5a of an upper pestle and the upper end face 6a of a lower pestle, an ejection means for a powdery lubricant, which ejects a powdery lubricant L to each end face of the upper pestle 5 and the lower pestle 6 and the mortar hole 41 prior to the packing of the powder, is provided with an ejection nozzle which has concave faces NUa and NBa and ejects the powdery lubricant L in a substantially one direction guided by the concave faces NUa and NBa and oppositely to each end face of the upper pestle 5 and the lower pestle 6 at each supplying position of the powdery lubricant L, and an airflow supplying mechanism which blocks the upward scatter of the powder lubricant L ejected from the ejection nozzle by ejecting a high speed airflow into the vicinity of the lower end face 5a of the upper pestle.
