PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely accomplish the separation of casting blanks and green sand molds and the collapse of the green sand molds. SOLUTION: The surfaces of the green sand molds without casting flasks subjected to pouring are scored. The scored green sand molds are hermetically enclosed. The inside of the structures hermetically enclosing the green sand molds is rapidly sucked and decompressed by which a negative pressure state is maintained therein. The boiling point of the moisture over the entire part of the green sand molds including the moisture of the moisture condensation layers formed around the casting blanks in the green sand molds is lowered to boil the moisture. As a result, the green sand molds are collapsed and are separated from the casting blanks. After the state of hermetically enclosing the green sand molds is released, the casting blanks are taken out.
