PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold coat drying device which effectively acts emitted microwaves on works and to shorten a cycle time. SOLUTION: This drying device has a drying furnace 21 which contains a transporting means 24 for transporting the work to be dried in the state of drying the works on pallets into a furnace casing, has a work feeding port 25, a feeding port door 25a and a first intermediate door 17 on one side of the transporting direction and has a work take-out port 26, a take-out door 26a and a second intermediate door 28 on the other side, plural waveguides 29 which irradiate the inside of the drying furnace 21 with the microwaves, plural electromagnetic agitating devices 30 which diffuse the microwaves in the drying furane 21 and a packing device 32 disposed to face the work feeding port 25 and a take-out device 34 disposed to face the work take-out port 26. The zone where the works may be continuously irradiated with the microwaves by closing the first intermediate door 27 and the second intermediate door 28 even during the feeding and take-out work of the work is formed in the furnace, by which the irradiation of the entire part from the work feeding port to the take-out port with the microwaves is made possible, the loss of the loading and take-out time of the works is saved and the irradiation efficiency is enhanced.
