PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correcting apparatus and a correcting method for electroplating equipment by which an installation space is reduced with simple equipment and both an upward camber and a downward camber in the strip width direction are corrected. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for correcting strip width direction shape for electroplating equipment, three rolls 8, 9, 10 are arranged in the inlet side of an electrolytic treatment bath 2 while a strip 1 is positioned in middle thereof, at both face sides and up/down or left/right alternately, each roll is constituted individually movable toward the strip 1.
