PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated products which are changed in coloring states between the sunlight in the daytime and the three wavelength light emission type fluorescent lamps in the nighttime and is large in its color tone change by providing the surface of external parts made of synthetic resins of portable electric apparatus or the like with a coating film of a synthetic resin coating material compounded with specific rare earth oxide ultrafine particles and further providing the surface thereof with a coating film of an UV curing coating material. SOLUTION: This coated product is provided with the coating film layer of the synthetic resin coating material compounded with the rare earth oxide ultrafine particles which are manufactured by a DC arc plasma method and have an average particle size within a range of 5 to 200 nm and are expressed by the general formula M2O3 (where M denotes Ho, Nd or Pr) at 5 to 85 wt.% of the entire part of the solid content on the surface of a synthetic resin base material, and is further provided with the cured coating film layer of the UV curing coating material essentially consisting of a monomer having a (meth) acryloyl group.
