PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static mixer element which can do CIP(cleaning-in-place) cleaning in a short time and sufficiently mix fluid to be mixed and a static mixer. SOLUTION: The static mixer element 11A having projections 12A on its circumferential end surface and the static mixer in which the element 11A is set freely attachably/detachably in the internal space of a tube 21 are provided.
