PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the adjustment of data is difficult in observation of tooth by a conventional technique where a long period is taken and identifying of each tooth is difficult since one tooth the or plural teeth are observed by locally photographing them. SOLUTION: The oral cavity image pickup device is provided with an image pickup system 5 having at least a solid-state image pickup element 3 and a fisheye object lens 4, an image pickup part holder 1 for holding the system 5 within an oral cavity, and an erroneous insertion preventing guard 8. The system 5 is capable of simultaneously picking up an image of all or a part of the entire dentition and a part of a biological tissue exposed in the oral cavity.
