PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a transparent thermoplastic resin such as a polycarbonate resin and a specific copolyester resin, the composition being transparent and excellent in chemical resistance and in molding stability. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprises a transparent thermoplastic resin composition (a), a copolyester resin (b) comprising at least two dicarboxylic acid components and a diol component wherein 1-50 mol% of the dicarboxylic acid components is a naphthalene dicarboxylic acid component, and an antioxidant (c), wherein the components (a), (b) and (c) respectively satisfy the following relationships based on 100 pts.wt. of the total of the above components (a) and (b): 50 pts.wt.<(a)<=99.99 pts.wt.; 0.01 pts.wt.<=(b)<50 pts.wt.; and 0.001 pts.wt.<=(c)<=1 pt.wt.
