PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable adhesive material so designed that a separator covering the adhesive layer thereof is facilitated to use and make by devising both the shape of and making method for splits furnished for making the separator easy to peel off. SOLUTION: This stretchable adhesive material is so designed that a separator 4 is coveringly temporarily bonded to the adhesive layer, smaller in area than the separator 4, of a patch 1 with the adhesive layer provided on one side of a stretchable base, and furnished with splits 5 each of which is composed of a patch line part 6 at a position where the patch 1 is applied to the separator 4, a curve part 7 so as to be circumferentially curved outside the patch by extending from both ends of the above patch line part 6 and an outer rim line part 8 crossed with the curve part 7 and extending to the outer rim 9 of the separator 4. This stretchable adhesive material can be produced easily because each of the splits 5 has only to be made through such a process that a patch line part 6 and a curve part 7 are first formed, there occurs no deformation with a portion free from the split 5 remained in the separator 4, then an outer rim line part 8 is formed crossed with the curve part 7 and extending to the outer rim 9 of the separator 4.
