PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container in which the carrying cost is reduced by carrying in the plane plate shape the small amount distribution packaging container of the folding type used for the fresh food field in the plane plate shape so that the sufficient water leakage measures can be applied instead by taking advantage of cost reduction, to be assembled into a container shape by the one-touch operation utilizing the minimized bending and folding lines and to be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The folding container is formed of a material 10 providing a liquid with the surface tension and having side plates 2a and 2b bending and folding the container on given bending and folding lines 1a and 1b in the vicinity of the outer periphery. The container is also provided with notches 4, 4 formed on the end of notches 3, 3 starting from an intersection of the bending and folding lines 1a and 1b crossing each other and heading for the outer peripheral direction of the folding container, engaging sections 6, 6 formed on the ends of end sections of side plates 2a and 2b, sections 5, 5 to be engaged with the engaging sections 6, 6 and formed on the ends of the end sections of the adjacent side plates 2b and 2a.
