PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mantle heating which can prevent a sample from seeping into the inside of a heater holder even when a vessel such as a flask of an experimental glass instrument is broken or the sample is boiled over the vessel and can prevent an atmospheric gas in an experimental room from penetrating into the inside of the heater holder from the upper side. SOLUTION: Such a metal-made heating holder 1 is prepared, that the upper end of a cylindrical barrel part 11 is blocked with a top plate 12 while airtightness is kept and a heating part 13 is formed by recessing the nearly center of the plate 12 to have a shape corresponding to that of the almost lower half of the vessel B of the experimental glass instrument. The inside of the holder 1 is filled with a filler 2 such as glass wool having heat resistance and electrically insulating property, a heater 3 is provided for heating the part 13 and the lower end of the part 11 is blocked with a bottom covering member 14. The outside part of the part 11 is covered with a heatproof cylindrical covering body 4.
