METHOD FOR ADSORBING AND REMOVING LIPOPROTEIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selectively adsorbing and removing a lipoprotein while suppressing the attachment of blood corpuscles such as red blood corpuscles, white blood corpuscles and thrombocyte on the surface of an absorbent, and the generation of bradykinin, and preventing the reduction of the efficiency of the adsorption of LDL and VLDL. SOLUTION: This method for adsorbing and removing the lipoprotein by using the absorbent can suppress the attachment of various kinds of the blood corpuscles to the surface of the absorbent and the increase of the concentration of bradykinin in the blood, and can selectively adsorb and remove the LDL and the VLDL by introducing a divalent cationic chelating agent and an anticoagulant having antithrombin activities to the blood to be treated in the adsorbing and removing of the lipoprotein by using the adsorbent.
