PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical temporary toilet utilizing microbial activities, whose function for decomposing human waste to make it disappear is maintained for long periods, which does not need humidity control, and wherein the costs of setting and maintenance are low. SOLUTION: The temporary toilet 10 having a toilet bowl 11 inside is provided with a waste disposing tank 12 and an agitating vane 13 installed within the tank 12 below the bowl 11. The tank 12 contains chips 31 inside, which bear microbes decomposing human waste to make it disappear. The vane 13 is provided with a heater 14 for warming the chips 31.
