<p>The panel is used for safety protection of the drive screw, or the ball and screw unit and the shaft, respectively, of universal lathes with or without a system for cyclic control. It improves the technical safety. The panel is in the form of a stepping folded monolith (integral) body (1), including a first vertical surface (2) fitted in plane +y, converting to a horizontal surface (5) fitted in plane +x, or in an inclined surface (14). On its turn, the horizontal, or the inclined surface (5, 14), respectively, is converted into a second vertical surface (6) fitted on plane -y.
