PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide china and porcelain small in thermal expansion coefficient and high in flexural strength when manufactured by a rapid firing method. SOLUTION: The china and porcelain are obtained by blending 20-50 parts weight clay, 0-30 parts weight porcelain stone, 0-50 parts weight feldspar and 10-60 parts weight no-alkali borosilicate glass to prepare a raw material, compacting the raw material and firing the compact. The no-alkali borosilicate glass consists, for example, of 40-60 wt.% SiO2, 0-20 wt.% Al2O3, 0-10 wt.% CaO, 0-4 wt.% MgO, 0-6 wt.% SrO, 0-20 wt.% BaO and 2-16 wt.% B2O3. |
