PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal pillow type packaging method, and a horizontal pillow type packaging apparatus which can easily evacuate and package an article easily deteriorating or degradable by the moisture in the air by newly adding the evacuation function without considerably changing a main portion of a conventional horizontal pillow type packaging method, and a conventional horizontal pillow type packaging machine (a packaging apparatus). SOLUTION: The horizontal pillow type packaging method comprises a step of packaging an article in a packaging film in a cylindrical shape to form a cylindrical packaged body, a step of heat-sealing the packaging film along the axial direction of the cylindrical packaged body, a step of evacuating the cylindrical packaged body by applying the blow outside of a first end in the perpendicular direction to the axial direction of the cylindrical packaged body while fixing the cylindrical packaged body to the horizontal plane in the axial direction, and a step of heat-sealing a second end of the cylindrical packaged body, and the horizontal pillow type packaging apparatus to implement the horizontal pillow type packaging method. |
