PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of an ethyleneunsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer having a controlled dispersion particle size according to the purpose of application. SOLUTION: The objective aqueous dispersion having controlled particle sizes is produced by characteristically dispersing a resin composition comprising (A) an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic copolymer including 15-35 wt.% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and (B) an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic copolymer including 5-15 wt.% of unsaturated carboxylic acid in water by using an alkali metal or ammonia.
