PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely conduct center folding treating. SOLUTION: This recording paper post-treatment device is a recording paper sheaf post-treatment of an image forming apparatus having a saddle stitching device 5 for performing saddle stitching by driving a staple in the center of the recording paper sheaf by a stapler, and a center folding device 6 for center folding the center folding part of the saddle stitched recording paper sheaf. The post-treating device is provided with fixing means 74A, 74B for temporarily fixing and holding the end of the saddle stitched recording paper sheaf before the recording paper sheaf is folded in the center. Not to shift the center folding position of the recording paper sheaf, the end of the recording paper sheaf is still fixed by the fixing means 74A, 74B to conduct center folding treatment.
