PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive to simultaneously feed and pressurize paper, to reduce cost, to reduce impact noise, free to read at low cost, to improve productivity, free to miniaturize it and to prevent paper feeding failure of a document. SOLUTION: This document carrying device DF free to read documents by separating the copies loaded on a paper feeding tray 201 one by one and carrying them is furnished with a movable pressing thick plate 403 for paper feeding and delivery provided free to elevate on the feeding side of the paper feeding tray 201 and a top plate 408 to position the documents which is provided opposed to an upper position of the movable pressing thick plate 403, and it is deviated free to elevate the movable pressing thick plate 403 by a paper feeding driving motor M1 to carry the documents by driving paper feeding carrying rollers 404, 405.
