PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container formed of a material, in which the ratio of a plastic is small, coping with the environmental problems, easily assembling a container blank in a molding tool, provided with the strength hard to be deformed and having a plane and smooth flange manufactured integrally and free from overlapped sections or joint so as to provide sufficient sealing property by using a sealing cover. SOLUTION: The paper container is constituted of a paper container main body formed of a paper as main material and assembled of a main blank and a sub-blank paper and an inner protective film layer formed of a thermoplastic resin film bonded with the inner face of the paper container main body, and the main blank is formed of a frame-shaped flange, while the sub-blank is formed of a bottom face, side faces and overlapping pieces continuously connected with the side face through folds, and the overlapping pieces of the sub- blank are overlapped with the flange of the main blank, and recesses are formed on a part of a section overlapped with the overlapping pieces on the flange, or cores are formed on a part of sections overlapped with the overlapping pieces and overlapped on the outer face of the flange.
