PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic grain carrying device so designed that, during moving travel of the combine harvester, midway of retracting and extending a moving carrying cylinder, the height of the cylinder is varied successively higher in order to preventing the cylinder from breakage and according to the extended state of the cylinder so as to intend greater adaptability of the cylinder to height. SOLUTION: This telescopic grain carrying device has such a scheme that, for a holding device 24 supporting a moving carrying cylinder 22 in a retracted and contained state inserted into the outer circumferential part of a stationary carrying cylinder 23 housing a stationary moving spiral 28 for carrying grains in it and housing moving carrying spirals 29, 30 and 31 made telescopic in it by the aid of a telescopic device 33, the vertical height of the holding device 24 based on the retraction amount in retracting the moving carrying cylinder 22 and the ascending amount of the holding device 24 as a result of raising the cylinder 22 by the aid of a lift 23b based on the extended level of the cylinder 22 in its extension are controlled by a control unit.
