PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extinguish having a shallower pit and requiring no complicated movable mechanism. SOLUTION: The extinguish comprises a water supply main pipe provided in a storage portion having an opening at its upper side, an extinguishing nozzle connected to the water supply main pipe, a nozzle cover provided on the opening in a closeable manner, a water pressure cylinder opposed to the reverse of the nozzle cover, and a branch pipe provided between the water pressure cylinder and the water supply main pipe. A horizontal pipe is provided for the water supply main pipe via an elbow perpendicularly to the water supply main pipe and the extinguishing nozzle is slantly mounted at the end of the horizontal pipe. An inspection cover is provided adjacent the nozzle cover and manual equipment is provided at the lower side of the inspection cover.
