AUTOMATIC SPACING REGULATION METHOD FOR HUSKING ROLL AND DEVICE FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic spacing regulation method for husking rolls of a husking machine which can exactly detect the contact point of the husking rolls and prevents the husking rolls from giving rise to uneven wear and producing uncomfortable noise. SOLUTION: The husking machine A has a pair of the husking rolls consisting of the one husking roll 1 and the other husking roll 2 facing the same. The machine has a roll spacing regulation means 3 for automatically regulating the opposite spacing of a pair of the husking rolls by electric driving. The machine has a rotary encoder 5 which detects the number of revolutions of a motor 4 constituting the roll spacing regulation means 3 cooperatively therewith and a controller 6 which has a control function to detect the point at which the number of revolutions detected by the rotary encoder 5 switches from an equilibrium state to a deceleration state as the contact point of the husking rolls 1 and 2, and to rotate the motor 4 reverse by as much as the preset required roll spacing from the contact point of the husking rolls 1 and 2.
