PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent overheating of a fan motor in a circulating vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: The circulating vacuum cleaner, which makes at least a part of airflow supplied by a scroll blade centrifugal fan 501 circulated to a jet part, is provided with a sweeping head having a suction opening 505 sucking in dust, a filter for dust, a fan motor arranged in the rear of the filter, and a suction duct stretching from the sweeping head to the filter. A suction flow drawn in through the sweeping head is sucked in through the suction opening 505 by the fan 501 to be divided into two flows (q1, q2.) One divided flow q1 is circulated through holes 507, which open into the housing of the fan motor, to the sweeping head, and the other flow q2 passes through and cools the insides (502, 503) of the fan motor to be output to a cooling duct 512 discharging the flow q2 through an outlet hole 508 into the outside air.
