The invention relates to a self-adjusting ball-and-socket joint, comprising a ball element (2) which bears a pin (1) and which is accommodated in an associated spherical socket in such a way that it can swivel. Said spherical socket is made up of a first element (3) and a second element (4) which can be moved against each other by means of an adjustment device that is subjected to a force, in order to compensate wear. According to the invention, the two spherical socket elements (3, 4) are linked with a positive fit in the form of a screw connection but are connected in such a way that they can move in a rotational and axial direction, in which case a permanent torque is applied to the screw connection. |
