PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium which is excellent in both of ink absorbency and light-resistance of images, an image forming method using the recording medium, and a recorded article. SOLUTION: This recording medium comprises a supporting body and an ink-receiving layer provided on the supporting body. The ink receiving layer contains a compound which is represented by general formula I (in the formula I, X represents H, an alkyl group, an aryl group or the like. R1 to R4 each represent H or an alkyl group. Y represents OH, a carboxyl group, an alkyl group, an amino group, an alkenyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group or the like. Y may be a polymer. A polymer with X-Y as a principal chain may be acceptable as well.), and of which the solubility to water is 0.01 to 5%. |
