PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen point for a writing instrument having a sense or smooth writing, much wear resistance and carbon copying properties according to a ballpoint pen durable against a high writing pressure without drawing a plug. SOLUTION: A pen point body 3 of a writing instrument of a capillary tube movable state of an ink in an axial direction comprises a writing surface 3c of a periphery of a substantially flat receiving support surface 3b of a tip and an inserting hole 3d along the axial direction of the center of the supporting surface 3b. A plug 4 having a higher wear resistance and hardness than that of the pen point body 3 has a head 4a including a round top surface 4a1 and a substantially flat rear surface 4a2, and a leg 4b extended from a center of the rear surface 4a2 in the axial direction. Thus, the leg 4b is inserted into the hole 3d, the rear surface 4a2 is supported to the surface 3b, and a pen point 2 of the writing instrument of a copy state is formed into a suitable pen point with the central top surface 4a1 and the surface 3c of the circumference of the top surface 4a1. |
