PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racket superior in vibration absorbing characteristic by improving a paint to be applied to the racket. SOLUTION: This racket having a head portion, a throat portion, a shaft portion, a grip portion and a yoke comprises a coating, containing putty for rough coat and an appearance paint to be applied to the surface of the putty, formed on the surface of a low frame molded of a fiber reinforcing resin. A damping paint is used as at least part of the putty and/or appearance paint, and the ratio (B)/(A) of a vibration damping factor (A) in case that no coating is applied to the low frame, to a vibration damping factor (B) in case that the coating is applied to the low frame is within 1.2 to 9.0.
