PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-melt adhesive composition using a tackifying resin consisting of a coumarone-indene-based resin or C9 petroleum fraction-derived petroleum resin without impairing the industrial advantages inherent in the above resin, and excellent in stability under heating. SOLUTION: This hot-melt adhesive composition comprises an ethylene-based copolymer 30-45 wt.% in vinyl acetate content, a tackifying resin consisting of a C9 unhydrogenated resin or coumarone-indene-based resin, and a wax.
