PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dust collector capable of efficiently capturing the dust in air. SOLUTION: First belt-shaped supporting bars 11b used as dust collecting electrodes arranged in the vertical direction are provided so as to penetrate recessed parts of plural belt-shaped high voltage electrodes 10b arranged in the horizontal direction, and moreover first belt-shaped supporting bars 11c used as high voltage electrodes arranged in the vertical direction is provided so as to penetrate recessed parts of plural belt-shaped dust collecting electrodes 11a arranged in the horizontal direction.
