PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of creases of a sheet and turbulence of an image in a sheet discharge part. SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus, sheet on which an image is formed is discharged to a sheet discharge tray by a discharge roller 29a and a discharge paddle 33. The discharge paddle is provided with a base 33b fixed to a driving shaft 30 of the discharge roller and a plurality of paddles 33a formed on the outer periphery of the base, and the paddles are formed extending in the reverse direction to the rotating direction R of the driving shaft.
