The invention relates to a process for lining with glass the steel conduits/pipes/ducts employed in chemical, metal-working and mining industry. According to the invention, the process consists in spreading on/to wipe over a layer of fireproof material of quartz glass, corundum, mullite or zirconic melts prepared in centrifugal electric furnaces at temperature of over 2000 degree C, introducing the tubes in steel conduits/pipes/ducts heated beforehand at a temperature ranging of 500 to 700 degree C for the expansion and being provided at both ends with metal flanges for junction/joint, and cooling in open air down to the environment temperature, in order to expanding and evaporating the water from the colloidal silica, which becomes a hard binder and also contracting the steel conduits/pipes/ducts over the tubes of firing proof material.
