The invention relates to a reduction gear for actuating the industrial fittings, employed in industrial installations. According to the invention, the reduction gear comprises a main housing (1) provided with a front cover (2) wherein an input gear shaft (3) is mounted, said input gear shaft (3) transmitting the rotary motion to a driven toothed wheel and to an output gear shaft (9) by means of a driving toothed wheel (4), said output gear shaft (9) engaging a face toothed wheel (10) coupled to a nut (15) driving the rod which actuates the fitting, said face toothed wheel (10) being placed between an upper housing (7) and a lower housing (8), both of them being attached to the main housing (1) of the reduction gear.
