PURPOSE: An apparatus for 3 head 3 pole automatic submerged arc welding both sides of a panel is provided which fully automatically performs welding operation from the start of welding to removing of slag with one time switch operation after setting the welding head in a 3 pole 3 head method. CONSTITUTION: In constructing an automatic welding apparatus system in which 3 or more areas of welding parts generated when processing four or more large scale plates with set together are automatically welded from the start of welding to the removal of slag, the apparatus for 3 head 3 pole automatic submerged arc welding both sides of a panel comprises a welding line skewing unit, an X-Y slider and a welding head part, a unit for opening and closing spraying of flux, and subsidiarily supplying flux, a flux recovery unit, a unit for automatically crushing and recovering welding slag, a large scale wire reel for submerged arc welding and a unit for detecting remnant of wire, an earth unit for welding, and a control system and an operating and monitoring system.
