PURPOSE: An apparatus for transferring a transparent substrate of a liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent the transparent substrate from being damaged by transferring the transparent substrate in a lifted state. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transferring a transparent substrate(20) of a liquid crystal display device comprises upper and lower rollers which are driven by a driving power source. The transparent substrate(20) is placed on a transparent substrate conveying frame. A wire and an injecting plate are provided to transfer the transparent substrate(20). The transparent substrate conveying frame is connected to the upper and lower rollers through the wire. The transparent substrate(20) is lifted by the injecting plate. In this state, the transparent substrate(20) is positioned in the transparent substrate conveying frame so as to be transferred.
