New pharmaceutical compositions (I), for application to the skin or mucosa, contain: (A) at least one non-steroidal antiinflammatory as active agent; (B) at least one ultraviolet (UV) radiation filter; and (C) at least one inert excipient or carrier. (B) and (C) are selected such that they do not affect the pharmacokinetic characteristics of (A).
