PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform focusing at extremely high speed even when an individual difference caused by manufacture is found. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a storage means 8 storing plural constants concerning sensitivity for obtaining a moving amount necessary for the focusing of a focusing lens from the out-of-focus amount of an optical system, an arithmetic calculation means 12 obtaining the moving amount of the focusing lens from the constant concerning the sensitivity selected out of plural ones in accordance with the sensitivity changed according to the individual difference at the time of manufacturing and the out-of-focus amount, and a focusing control means 6 driving the focusing lens in accordance with the moving amount obtained by the means 12. |
