PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an operating method for facilities where the device is used or an easily used and appropriate control fitting the occasionally changing operating method. SOLUTION: This medical image file device mainly comprises a compressing and expanding device 1 compressing and expanding an input image, a PC monitor 2 displaying the image and data, a DVD drive unit 7 recording the data and a PC 4 for performing the control of each device. The device 1 and the monitor 2 are connected to the PC 4 for control, and a keyboard for inputting the data and an operation instruction and a mouse are connected to the PC 4 for control. An electronic endoscope device 5 is also connected to the device 1. The unit 7 can further be connected to the PC 4 for control.
